Max Adler, born in California and raised in the New York metro area, is an adept musician and passionate performer. His musical journey began after receiving a pair of drumsticks at age 10. With no drum kit, he began to play with rhythm on improvised drum gear (empty containers and boxes). Music took hold. In addition to lessons with local teachers and years of private training, Max also studied at Montclair State University and received a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz. Max has learned from and been inspired by a wide range of jazz professionals, including Don Braden, Steve Johns, Rogerio Boccato, Bill Moring, Dave Stryker Alan Ferber, Nick Scheuble, Jeffrey Kunkel, John Daversa, Chris Wood, John Riley, and Broadway Conductor Greg Dlugos.
Max currently lives in the New York metro area.

For yourself or for a family member, together we’ll design a personalized curriculum to meet your specific goals and fit your schedule.
And if you need ideas on what gear to purchase or how to tune up, position and get the best sound out of your current kit, we’ll get that done too.
